When the ultrasonic inspection AD came out a few years ago, I contacted a testing facility in York, Pa....Precision Calibration and Testing Corporation, 717-840-4994. I explained our dilemma to them and they seemed confident they would be able to perform the inspection of each rivet. I didn't get the inspection done, since it wasn't mandatory and my coupe had been given an extensive rebuild by it's previous owner who also owns a WACO restoration shop. I haven't talk ed to them since then. My plane is in the Teterboro, NJ area. I called several aircraft maintenance shops and they don't do Ultrasonic testing nor do the know who does it.
