Dear friends: Perhaps some of you remember that long chain of mails when I once asked the group about the engine RPM drop after take off. My name is Daniel Arditi, I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Although I am not an Ercoupe owner, I am a pilot, work as an electronic engineer (once posted to the group some answer about handheld radios, remember?) and define myself as an ERCO fanatic. As Alan said, I found the ercoupe-tech group a very valuable source of knowledge, information and inspiration too.
I enjoy very much being a part of this group, because it is a space where we can learn a lot every day. I read every mail sent to the group, yes, every mail. Now following with attention the 'main spar issue' mails (also read the long letter that Mr. William Bayne sent to Roger Caldwell -great job William !). In a few words: I found this to be a fantastic group, full of fantastic guys. At the same time, I was thinking about how to construct a sort of a "virtual bridge", first to join the "Argentinian coupers" and second to help those who don't speak English, as far as I could. The result is this new group: Ercoupe_Argentina. Hope this help to join the fleet (at least "virtually") and also its pilots, share experiences and make new friends. Of course, the idea for this group is to write in Spanish, so, I am encouraging all of you who can write in Spanish to also join this new community. The group is called "Ercoupe_Argentina", and as the ercoupe-tech group, is a yahoo group. Well, the first step was taken. Greetings from Argentina !
