I have pulled several tanks, and sealed several in place. I wish I could say, 
don't worry, it is easy, but it isn't. It is a PITA. If it is a small area that 
is seeping, I would do what I could to seal it in place. How big is the leak, 
what did you use to try to seal it, and did you completely drain the tank?
