I have two 1946 C model coupes for sale. They are both projects but one is
really not a project as it is a complete, assembled aircraft. I am calling it
a project because it has not been in license since 1994 and needs a heavy
annual inspection. Both planes are located in Maine at KOWK airport, hangared.
The wings have been removed and have been stored indoors for the past 10
years. The fuselages have been outdoors. My inspection of the center
sections, viewed through the wing root reveals no center section corrosion but
I am not a mechanic. Both engines show good compression by resistance on the
prop. I will have a compression test done by an A+P mechanic for any serious
buyer (refundable deposit required). Both planes have complete logs from day
one. Both planes are truly C model Ercoupes and are eligible for Light Sport
flying. I have complete detail and links to pictures listed below.

N49G is a full blown project Ercoupe. It is a C model. Bare metal. VERY
clean fuselage. Never been anything but a C. It is all metal, including the
wings. The wings were metalized in the 1950's. The rudder peddles were
installed in 1970 (easily removed if desired). It has complete logs from day
one. It was last licensed in 1975. Total time is 1372 and 610 SMOH.
Compression feels very good when pulling the prop through. Center section
looks clean when inspected through the wing root. The engine was converted to a
C85-12. In 1946, it was damaged and repaired with all new parts from ERCO by
Wiggins Aviation. Bubble windshield in good condition. Sliders in fair
condition. Needs new rear windows and new window welting. This is a VERY
straight aircraft. The firewall is excellent. Most I have seen have wrinkles
and dents. The metal wings were stored by an undertaker who wrapped them in
casket blankets. The blankets got wet. There is some surface corrosion on the
outside of the wings but the insides look very clean. They are zinc chromated.
A A+P told me the wings will be fine if they are lightly sanded and painted or
polished. Last empty weight on the aircraft was 865. Price on N49G is $12,000

N2430H is really not a project. It is an Ercoupe that needs a very extensive
annual inspection. It is fully assembled, windows, instrument panel, interior,
etc. It has a not been licensed since 1994. It has fabric wings. Wings have
been stored inside since 1994. Empty weight is 825. It is a real C model. It
has very low total time of 833 hours and 315 since top overhaul. Compression
feels very strong an all cylinders. Center section looks clean when inspected
through the wing root. All logs are complete from day one. New prop in 1983,
a 76AK-2-48. Single fork nosewheel. Landing lights in main gear fairings.
Antenna connection for handheld radio. Price on N2430H is $17,000.
