Oh and I might add that the fairing is still available from Univair.

This fairing is made for the steel scissors and should be mounted only on nose 
gears without snubber cable.

But the pictured fairing is the one for the early style scissors.
 
However, the later style fairing is similar in dimensions, just with a 
different style of attachment to the scissors.
