Hey Len: The pawl that the spring pushes against the slide is made of  
phenolic, so it does wear out. If you are having problems now, I would order  
both the spring and the pawl, and after they are replaced, the throttle will  
work like it is supposed to.

Guys , I can use a little help on this one. I have an upgraded 85  (0200 
stc) in my 415cd. My problem is that the throttle creeps about two  hundred 
RPM no matter where it is set . I have a high enough serial #  that my 
throttle and trim is in a quadrant on the panel. I think there  should be a way 
to 
get a little more friction.  I just finished an  annuaL and it workede fine 
before.  Any help would be appreciated.  Can't find anything that discusses 
it in the manual.
