I use the Garmin 96C. I have a RAM mount deal. I have a ball on a
disk stuck to the glare shield a bit right of center. From that I have
their arm that takes a ball at both ends and then have that clamp a
cradle that fits my GPS. The 96C, of course, is a different size &
shape, so your concept may vary. By the way, gpscity.com seems to have
a better web display of RAM mounts than the RAM site, but maybe RAM has
improved their display & organization.

At my wife's strong suggestion, I found a 2nd 96C for a great price on
eBay. I have another of those ball - disk deals glued to the right
wall, towards the top front (has to penetrate the interior panel), so I
can (A) look at the map page on the front set and the numbers page on
the right set and / or {2} have a spare in case one somehow the other
gives up on me. I also have a Zaon MRX to attempt to enhance collision
avoidance. That gets Velcroed to the left of the GPS mount on the
glare shield. Obviously multiple "cig. lighter" 12 V outlets (have
another for the intercom and a 4th for spare) - I Velcroed these the
bottom of the transponder (the intercom Velcros to the bottom of the
panel, to the left of the transponder). "Different strokes", but
that's my arrangement. Someday I will have pictures of the deal.

Good luck,
