Another thought: Consider the possibility that the mechanic may have disconnected the elevator control rod and lifted the the elevator, (to access the hinge nuts), beyond it's normal travel before disconnecting the trim wire conduit and destroyed the rear flexible conduit. I'm not saying it's so, just one thing to consider...Ken
