I already mentioned I'm long in the tooth, I'll be 80 in May, but we have
one 84 and another 88 (the oldest?) and I wonder if we have real
youngsters-the youngest Couper?

I have you beat. Am 75 and 1/2, been flying continuously since 1951, over 5,
000 hours in all types of aircraft and the Ercoupe beats them all.
Especially a C model so I can fly as a Sport Pilot.

Don,

You're in good company. Due to the cost of flying and making a family,
the average age of forum members who answered our poll was about 63.

The oldest pilot at every national convention and most area
get-togethers is older than you.

I figure you've got a good 28 years of Ercouping left in you. Take good
care of yourself.

Ed
