I too have that question and will be watching for answers.  My coupe came with 
both forks, but the nose wheel fairing is for a single arm fork, and the dual 
fork is installed.  The previous owner stated that when he changed to a dual 
fork, it did not help the shimmy.  Has anyone ever fiberglassed a bump on the 
other side of a single arm nose wheel fairing?
