I've just uploaded 5 photos to the http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ercoupe-tech/photos/album/288454328/pic/list file which show the heat shroud that should be installed in Ercoupes that do winter flying. This was a part that I purchased from Skyport way back when they were located in Rochester, WI. I don't know if it is still available from them, but can easily be fabricated by anyone with a sheet metal brake and installed between the slanted floor board and the firewall. It works really well for me, flying in near-zero temperatures here in Wisconsin.
