Hartmut,
I know there is no TSO on fabrics (I used it for an example) But there are 
FAA regs on upholstery materials now. YOU can do what you wish  Hartmut, an 
FAA approved shop would not use flammable materials under any circumstances, 
but as mentioned earlier safety is the name of the game.
P.S. I'm getting tired of trying to honestly give you the facts. Yet there 
are those who just can't see it.   That's it
