By the way, this is why I don't get involved in these over hashed discussions 
any longer. There are always people on both sides that are giving the "facts" 
as they see them and get miffed if you don't agree with their "facts". Too bad 
because it is the newbies that sufferer because they never get a straight 
answer because by the time it settles down the discussion has gotten to the 
point that you can't tell what the question was. The FAA doesn't even agree on 
the regs. Go ahead and test it and call a dozen FSDO and don't be surprised if 
you get 10 different answers.
