Prof Ed, My '67 Alon (with factory-installed rudder pedals) has the wing leveling autopilot - it was in place when I purchased the airplane two years ago. I have the logs from the day it was ferried from Kansas (brand new) to Halifax, NS - no mention of an autopilot installation. And, the autopilot works!
