Thanks for the update.  We'll be especially interested in their finding on
why the engine lost power - if they can figure it out.

 

I always prefer to learn from other people's "events" rather than having to
duplicate all of them myself.

 

On the other hand, when doing tech support for computers, I could handle
most problems because I HAD already encountered that same failure myself (or
something similar enough to give me an idea).  I'd tell the caller that I've
personally tested all possible ways for computers to go wrong. (Hyperbole, I
know.)
