Hey Mac: I would first ask if you have the bubble windshield or the original straight one? If you have the bubble windshield, you have to remove the strap over the top in order to remove the side windows. There is not a lot of extra room, but you need to push the top edge of the window welt up and out of the way of the window end piece. Once you get the corner of the window end out of the welt, just pull the window on out of the frame and welt. When it is about 2/3 rds of the way out and down the opposite side, it will come right on out of the track. Replacing the window is just the opposite. My sliding canopys have metal bars on both ends and I can't seem to slide them out of the one slit on the forward frame. A matching slit on the rear frame would have helped (Mike at Skyport says there is such an arrangement on one of the Coupes there). I would appreciate advice on how to remove the plastic canopy to replace the welt. I have considered removing the alumnium panels covering the base of the panels by drilling out the rivets and later replacing them with self-taping screws but I'm not sure that would help.
