Don: The fuel shut off on the right side is to shut off the fuel from the
wing tanks to the fuel pump. The fuel pump takes fuel from the wings and
pumps it into the fuselage tank so it can gravity flow (through the valve on
your panel) to the carburetor.

My coupe has an on/off fuel valve on the panel, as I understand most all
do. However, I found a shutoff valve down just above the floorboard on the
far right side of the cabin. The manual is vague with its drawings, but I
can't envision what this valve is even there for. Does anybody have a
clue?
