Fred. Why fix things that are not broken?
The original Master cylinder is designed to work best with the original brakes I learned. Skyport sells a newer type master cylinder that works better with cleveland brakes I was told. So if you think about upgrading, upgrade master cylinder and brakes. I have no problems stopping and they work fine during the runup. However, it is time for my annual and I always try to do something to improve the plane during the annuals. I need some input on whether or not the master cylinder upgrade would be a worthwhile improvement with the original brakes, or would I be better off spending the money on some other upgrade (I am also thinking about a vertical card compass and new tach).
