We just replaced our compass and DG with a vertical compass from Aircraft Spruce. Put it in the same opening that had the old wet compass. Works perfect and very stable.

Does anybody know if this is something that can be adjusted for less than the cost of a new instrument? Or, does someone have a used but more accurate instrument for sale? Also, my directional gyro is now making alot of bearing noise when it spins up and is no longer accurate either. Anybody know where I might find a used gyro with good bearings? Or, can I just replace the DG with a vertical card compass? And if so, does anyone out there have a good vertical card compass for sale?
