Excellent point, John

I should have stated that my speculations were predicated on touchdown 
on the main gear with the nose in the air.  I would, however, further 
speculate that if the nose gear is free-castoring, there is no problem; 
and if not, keeping a light touch on the yoke or the pedals would allow 
to happen that which must happen without damage.

Otherwise...results may vary  ;<)
