Something that might give some people a start while trying to buy a coupe, is the markings on the data plate for the CD model. The plate shows what looks like an original C model factory marking then followed by a metal punch style "D", in a little different size. I guess they wanted to use up the left over "C" model data plates. Searching the records, that's the way it came from the factory but it only adds to some of the confusion.
