My Sis-in-law sent me this message but I couldn't help.  Although obviously not
an Ercoupe install but I thought some of you "old-aircraft" buffs (like me)
might have some info.

Subject: Old Aircraft Gyro

Hi Ed,

Jerry and I were wondering if you could identify this old gyro he bought at the
swap meet. I have looked on the Internet and can't seem to find one like it, or
any info.

The pictures show it has a dome glass front where you can see the yellow plane
inside the glass. The plane moves up & doan and side to side if you rotate the
case.

The identification plate says:
3D ARTIFICIAL HORIZON
Coffing Industries Inc.
Covington, IND.  - Dallas, TX
Model # CL 70
Serial # 177
Wt. 4 lbs.

Another sticker on the back says:
FAA No. 3819
Carruth Laboratories, Inc.
Instruments / Accessories
Dallas, TX

Have you ever seen one like this?

Love you!!!
Anita
