Wayne -

I'm not sure of the details, but I think a Canadian owner maint. airplane is
a real headache, if not an impossibility, to license in the U.S.

Can such a Canadian airplane be returned to "normal" maint. programs up
there?

If it can, perhaps after a normal annual inspection, it may be imported.
But seek the guidance of one who really knows, such as EAA or AOPA.

  Subject: [ercoupe-tech] Belly skin

  Gentlemen::
  remember, this is a Canadian Coupe, and under Canadian rules the owner,
unassisted, may repair the belly skin without IA inspection in any manner he
sees fit. What happens to this modification when the aircraft is
re-imported to the U. S. ?
