The only way I can stop ours, N 3439H, 415C, is by using the hand brake on the panel. With the rudder pedals on the floor we removed the brake. Honestly, we have been contemplating removing the pedals and reinstall the floor brake but just haven't decided if that is the way to go. Especially after spending alot of money to install the pedals.
We replaced the origional master brake cylinder and the brakes were much better. However it took us quite awhile to finally get the air out of the lines. We started the wrong way and finally realized you have to bleed from the bottom up. After initial bleeding we also had the problem that moving forward the brakes worked perfectly. But after returning from a flight and pushing the plane backwards into the hangar, it took 2 people and alot of work. But we released some of the pressure, lubed the pistons on each wheel and now it appears to be OK. I'm getting the message here that we're not supposed to use the "parking brake" handle. Bart
