IMHO - I believe we should be replying to the Forum as a default, so that others (lurkers) can benefit from the exchange. Private messages can be handled via e-mail very easily.
HOWEVER! I don't know whether something in my setup is amiss or what, but I have no dropdown or other options showing on my "Post Message" creation window how I would send it to somewhere other than "[email protected]" which is filled in when I open this screen. I did just now go to "Preview" and all it says is "Are you sure you want to send this message", and then the little boxes for "Send" and "Edit". If I hit send, it does, and that's it. If I click on the "To:" above, nothing happens. Where is this option as where the sender wants the message sent?
