Ron and others who would like to easily send replies to an individual (sometimes). I don't know if it comes through on your normal mail or not. The Yahoo mail has a provision to make this easy if your Group Membership is set to a message preference of "Fully Featured New and Improved!" Look down at the bottom of your e-mail below and you'll see the lines that include <Reply to Sender." Clicking on that will easily let you send a message to just the sender of that to which you are replying. If you get your mail in the "Traditional" mode, I don't think you see those lines. The penalty of using "Fully Featured" is that you get more Yahoo ads at the bottom of the message. As Yahoo provides us this service at no charge, I feel that a fair balance is to glance at those ads and click on them when they do interest me. TANSTAAFL after all! Everything has to be paid for, somehow. Ed IMHO - I believe we should be replying to the Forum as a default, so that others (lurkers) can benefit from the exchange. Private messages can be handled via e-mail very easily.
HOWEVER! I don't know whether something in my setup is amiss or what, but I have no dropdown or other options showing on my "Post Message" creation window how I would send it to somewhere other than "[email protected] <mailto:ercoupe-tech%40yahoogroups.com> " which is filled in when I open this screen. I did just now go to "Preview" and all it says is "Are you sure you want to send this message", and then the little boxes for "Send" and "Edit". If I hit send, it does, and that's it. If I click on the "To:" above, nothing happens. Where is this option as where the sender wants the message sent?
