Man, do I feel lucky. My coupe has been down for three months at least getting a fine tooth comb going over and a recovering of both wings. We took off the old covering, which was cotton put on in 1992, because it barely passed test. We opened up the wings and were shocked to find nice, bright, shiney aluminum ribs. Since we are in Florida, we painted them with chromate, although I hated to mess up the shiney look of the interior. Didn't really find anything out of sorts except I had to mark each and every fastener removed so that when we put it back together, each screw/bolt went back in its original hole. Seems like over the years, each hole has a different fastener. So we have it back together now except for the cowling and floorboards (ugh) and should be aviating mightily shortly. Wife calling. Bye. Bart
