Does anyone have experience with the Rief Engine Preheaters? Living and hangaring out here on the Plains we have lots of temperature variations of hot and cold. My A&P/IA suggests that I install this type of heater, plug it in November 1st, and leave it on all winter. I would not leave the oil pan heater plugged in, except for a few hrs before flight. Any thoughts on this??? Thanks Scott
