Hey Mac: I am sure you have checked the vent holes by now. I have seen this 
 type of problem on several coupes. It obviously can be caused by a vent 
being  clogged. I have also seen different size vents in the caps, different 
pressure  on the gaskets (bending the tabs until you get about the same 
pressure helps),  and partially plugged lines (both return and transfer).
    Let us know what you find that solves the  problem.

The fuel system on my coupe continues to give me heartburn. This time the  
left tank refused to fill the header so when the right tank finished its job 
 the header tank started to go down. There was some tension in the cockpit 
as  we watched this. I'm thinking a blockage in the line between the left 
and  right tank prevented the transfer of fuel to the right tank and then to 
the  header. The three fuel gauges were all set properly. Am I on the right  
track?
