Hi Linda The 35 fits the box, do not use the 25. Todays batterys walls are much
thinner then thoses of the forties. You can do what you want, but what I would
do if I were you is do what makes the most sence and use the battery that fits
the box because the last thing you need is a battery sloping around in the box.
I have the CONCORDE RG-35 sealed barrery. Your new battery will come with two
thin cardboard spacers one at each end inside of the new box,use those in the
COUPE box and there will be no slop at all.

Univair Service Memorandum No. 67 contains a chart of batteries
approved for various models.  It shows the Concorde CB-25 or Concorde
RG-25 are approved for use in the 415-C.  Does that mean it would be
illegal to use a Concorde-35, even if it could fit?  (One mechanic
wants me to use a Concorde-35 if possible, and I don't want to
trouble figuring out if it would fit, if that would not be a legal
installation.)  Thanks -
