Hopefully I didn't waste money on a battery but the generator shows that it is charging and I have a volt meter on my Xcom radio that says it is running at about 14.5 volts when I am in the air. Reading the Univair memo it sounded like the older generators just couldn't handle charging the larger batteries and only approved the RG25 batteries. I don't have a lot of electronics but do have a beacon and nav lights. My thought was get the recommended battery and the generator should hold up. I know some people don't mind the generators and some hate them and if the generator works with the right size battery then I will be fine with it. Todd

You should see how fast the battery is recharged when starting! I can run everything now with no problems. Silly old 10 amp generator was the problem. --- In [email protected] <mailto:ercoupe-tech%40yahoogroups.com> , John Cooper <j...@...> wrote: > > On 6/14/2010 4:02 PM, e...@... wrote: > > I am trying the Concorde RG25 and I hope the generator can keep this > > one charged. > Sounds like the generator is the problem, not the battery.
