John, I have a really dumb question, but, are we talking about a Goodrich 
expanding tube brake setup here? Or a Goodyear with the floting disc???
The Goodrich is shown in one of my manuals as being fitted to the Ercoupe (my E 
has Goodyear though...) .
Now, the Goodrich would have the T fitting above the connector for the little 
expander tube inside the brake drum. Right? They do on Navions fitted with 
Goodrich, it is how u bleed them...
