Don just sent us an e-mail with a photo that makes a couple of points:
1. As he embedded the photo in the body of the message, rather than
"attaching" it, about half our members won't be able to see it.
2. As he didn't change the dpi of the photo to 72 or 96 and didn't do
<save as> to save the photo as a .jpg quality level of 3, 2, 1 or 0, the
photo came through as a 3 MegaByte message - as big as over 200 regular
messages or messages containing the photo as an attachment.
It's very important to process that photo before sending it as an inline.
Our new standard, adopted an hour or two ago, is to send photos as an
attachment (use the paperclip button) to your e-mail.

opportune time in the discussion cycle. This is a learning experience for
all of us.
