I purchased my 415c in late February and flew it 80 miles to my a...@p to go
through it. The mags promptly gave out after landing. My mechanic had told me
that I would need to put money into it so it was not suprised. I had him and
his team go through the airplan thourally. They pulled the wings, engine mount,
removed all corrosion an went through everything. They found a cracked prop
hub, steering knuckle and leaking gas tank. And this plane had just recently
had an annual.I have the baggage and 1320lb stc and a brand new custom interior
as well as new slick mags. After much time the plane is back together and had
its test flight today. I will fly it locally this weekend and then after a new
mechanic review I will fly it home.
