Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. I obtained a field approval for a chap who
had an O-200 installed in his Alon a few years back.

He had a health problem and wanted to sell the plane.

It came from Ohio. It was damaged in a ramp flip over and I rebuilt it over
the winter. I have only flown it for 3 hours but it's the nicest flying
airplane I have ever piloted!

I have a '65 Alon with the O-200 STC and a McCauley 69/48 prop

That engine is somewhat unusual in an Alon.
Just out of curiosity, did the plane come from the Vancouver area in
Washington State?
