O Contrar, I have gotten my FSDO to issue numerous replacement airwortiness 
certificates over the years and it is not that big an issue if you have the 
original, or even if it was lost.

 

Have you IA, or you can call yourself,  the fsdo in your area and explain the 
issue. Should not be a problem.
