The Carb Heat Control Cable broke on my 46 Ercoupe. I Would like to Replace it. The one that was there looked like it came from an Auto parts store, or it could have been the original cable. Can anyone tell me if I can put a Cessna Cable in as a Replacement ? It at least comes with a PMA. Can I do this myself and have an AP/AI check it ? Would an Aircraft log book entry be enough to record the work done, or would a 337 form be needed ? Does anyone know ?
