Kim,

Your best bet is to contact Dr. Simon Hay, University of Oxford. He presented
a paper last month in Sydney, Australia during International Geoscience and
Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) conference July 9-13, 2001 on "Early Warning
of Malaria in Africa Using Information derived from Meteorological Satellite
Sensors: Stable and Unstable Malaria". He has also written a book related to
the area you are investigating. His contact address is:

and calculation for the forest crowd density? Can somebody give me some idea
