Dear List,

Does anyone have any tricks for masking out cloud and haze affected regions
of ETM+ data? I've tried thresholding Band 1 and also ratioing Band 1 and
Band 6. They both give satisfactory and substantially similar results on
discrete clouds but (as expected) lose definition at the diffuse cloud
edges. I plan to classify the images, so would like to completely mask out
clouds and also isolate haze. Are there any better ways to do it?

Regards,
