Leo,
My company Observera, just released (August 1) a Windows NT/2000 version of our
product RAVEN View that mosaics video automatically. RAVEN View allows you to
capture analog video, mosaic it, and then, if possible, georeference it. You can also
work with digital video that has been captured by other means (e.g, firewire, capture
software)
Aerial video shot looking at nadir usually provide the best results,
but RAVEN View can handle oblique video as well as ground based video.
RAVEN View comes with many tools including cropping of your video frames, the ability
to
select only the frames you wish to mosaic, export to common imagery formats, importing
of metadata,
displaying mosaics over maps or images with control points, and the
ability to manually manipulate the metadata (roll, pitch, yaw, and altitude).
RAVEN View is capable of mosaicking video at rates faster than 20 frames per second on
a 1.7 GHz
P4 system we have, although speeds will vary depending on the video content and
mosaicking
parameters. Mosaicking options available within RAVEN View include user defined
overlap percentage, max frame interval, blending and averaging compositions, affine
and translation
transforms, histogram matching, and mosaicking with metadata and/or control points.

Sincerely,
Courtland Davis
