I have been using the
clipmask feature to create a white background to fill the space where there is
no imagery., when I am writing out *.ers and #.ecw files. However, when I set
the colour of the clipmask to white and the clipmask border to white, the newly
created image never has a true white background - the colour is always 254
rather than 255. I went into the clipmask folder in ER Mapper and edited the
outside.ldd file to set the default colour to 255( it is currently 254) but this
does not help. I tried looking at the clipmask vector file in a text editor but
I don't see values for the color in the header file.
Is there a way to fix
this problem?
