The safest way would be to transfer the license to a separate machine.
cheers

Subject: NTFS conversion

Dear All,

Does anyone have any experience with converting ER Mapper 6.2 on a FAT32
partition into NTFS (under Win2000)? I read on the technical support
website that ER Mapper probably will not survive a direct conversion from
FAT32 to NTFS.

So I tried installing an evaluation version first on a different hard drive
with an NTFS partition, so as to transfer my licence and park it there
safely, but the evaluation licensing server died, saying: NETWORK: Network
drivers seems not to be serving this directory.

Any ideas how to do set up an NTFS system with ER Mapper 6.2 safely?

Thanks!
