file, please let me know. i've done the manual flythrough, if you need
help with that.

Hi All,

Among the several applications I'm thinking about, for ermapper, before
I
take the plunge, are

(a) wrap-around photography (stitching together 360 degree panoramas),
and
(b) virtual flythroughs.

For (a), here's a typical example (I guess you need Flash installed to
view
this url):

http://www.virtualguidebooks.com/Alaska/SouthCentralAlaska/HubbardGlacier/Hu
bbardGlacierVeranda.html

Basically, 16 or 20 photos are taken, at regular points of the compass,
and
then stitched together into a virtual cylinder, by nearly unattended
software (ermapper, I'm hoping), and then a suitable interface (again,
from
ermapper, I'm hoping) lets you take a "look around".

Anybody done this type of stitching with ermapper, and/or developed or
seen
an interface that works with ecw files?

For (b), I'm hoping the idea defines itself. Given a mosaiced orthophoto
(ECW), and a suitable DEM, is there an interface available to fly
through at
will, or fly through on a given flightline, or at least save a fly
through
as an "ecw" movie?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
