Hi: I did a supervised classification with ERMapper, to separate water from inland, i worked with a Thematic Mapper image,with a pixel of 30 mt. I got good results with the big reservoirs but i had problems with the little pounds, of 1or 2 hectarea.
My training regions were of 4 or 5 hectarea , i used 20 training regions for water, and 20 training regions for no water, but as i said, each one is about 4Ha. I don�t know if there is the reason of the problem. But i got good results with the rivers too, what is the size you think the most adecuate for a training region? how many pixels for one area of water?
