Check out the INREGION function in the formula editor - I believe the associated
helpfile entry should point you in the right direction for what you want to do.
You can incorporate this in an algorithm layer with whatever filter you please.
Sorry I can't be more specific than this; I'm only speaking from the top of a
fairly distant memory.
