Yes -
First you will need to convert the area of interest in the .erv file
to a region in a .ers file (process menu/vector to region), and then you can
use the formula functionality to null out the area outside the
area of interest (ie if inregion("my region") then i1 else null),
and then specify the filter by the usual method (filter dialog window).
There are examples and details of this sort of thing in the manual.
