ECW georegistered files in ArcView

Hello,   I have some ECW files that have been georegistered and they work well in ArcGIS. However, I need to get the ECW georegisterd files to work in ArcView because the editing function in Arc Map is very unstable, at least with ECW files.   In ArcView 3.2, the ECW files appear but not as being georeferenced.   Can anyone suggest a way to get the ECW files into a form that carry the georeferenced information into ArcView.   Many thanks,   Bob   Robert M.
