And it IS appreciated.

We use the .ecw plugin for Photoshop and ERViewer extensively. It has been
very useful, though a little limited.
I would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to you for
making so much of your technology freely available.
Those of us who are not GIS professionals have benefited greatly from this.

Well, since you mention feedback: One detail that is frustrating is that
though I can open a 500mb plus .ecw image in Photoshop, I can't save it if I
make changes.. Any possibility this restriction will get removed or at
least adjusted upwards somewhat?

I realise that you are primarily concerned with the commercial product,
ERMapper, unfortunately I am not a cartographer and I have significant
difficulty, despite the best intentions and a desire to learn, understanding
a lot of the matters discussed here. So I doubt if I could use it
effectively even if I bought it.
