I finally got a distributor willing to sell me single units of the Structural composite tanks: Performance Water 714-736-0137
The part I am looking at is pn:31573, a 21"x36" tank with 4" threaded flanges on top and bottom. It weighs 46 pounds (less, if you remove the bottom tripod), and holds 45 gallons. It is only rated for 150 psi use, but burst pressure should be 600 psi. We are probably going to hydrotest to 400 and use at 250. With this low of a pressure rating, regulated pressure will be necessary, but this line of tanks would be particularly suitable if we wind up going with TZM radiatively cooled biprops, because you can't really use any higher pressure than that without increasing the heat transfer too much. The price... $320. Shipping will probably be a fair amount, and lead time is three weeks.
