I'd recommend against putting anything on Yahoo! for a couple reasons.
First, if you carefully read their membership agreement (aka Terms of
Service), you'll find a statement that anything posted via their system
becomes copyrighted by Yahoo! -- which I think they'd be unable to
enforce on previously copyrighted material, but which could be costly to
decide. Second, anything posted on Yahoo! is accessible to anyone who
signs up for the group -- and while groups can be made approved
membership or even invitation only, they certainly don't default that
way; in addition, every upload prompts an e-mail to all members of the
group (which is a really good way to drive everyone nuts if you have
groupware documents that will be updated frequently). Finally, Yahoo!
explicitly denies any responsibility for either security in terms of
access to data, or security in terms of preservation of data -- that is,
they disclaim responsibility for protection of your documents from
either theft or erasure.
